We have had a wide variety of visitors to our farmhouse bed and breakfast in Weardale.
Attending family weddings in Auckland Castle or The Derwent Manor Hotel, catching up with family after 50 years' emigration to Canada, cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats, breaking the journey to and from Scotland, looking at local Universities, bell ringing, attending and competing at Witton Castle and Hexham Horse Trials, competing, judging and spectating at Working Dog and Gun Dog Field Trials.
Short holiday breaks to take in Beamish Museum, Durham Cathedral, The Angel of the North, Hadrian's Wall, and many more established landmarks.
